当地时间11月10日，美国总统特朗普在其社交平台“真实社交”（Truth Social）上发文表示，所有空中交通管制员必须立即返回工作岗位，任何不返回的人都将受到严厉的“处罚”。
特朗普称，对于那些没有在政府“停摆”期间请假的空中交通管制员，他将建议每人发放1万美元的奖金。
