当地时间11月2日傍晚，印度空间研究组织（ISRO）使用重型运载火箭LVM3-M5将一颗重量为4410公斤的通信卫星送入地球同步转移轨道。印度空间研究组织表示，这是该国迄今为止从印度本土发射，并进入地球同步转移轨道最重的卫星。同时，这也是该组织使用国产火箭发射的重量最大的卫星。（央视新闻）
