11月中旬至12月中旬是长沙赏秋的黄金时期。岳麓山的红叶数量多、颜色鲜艳，爱晚亭更是赏枫的绝佳地点。开福寺银杏金黄，古刹庄严。香火缭绕，梵音袅袅。
烈士公园有近百株枫香，水杉区域拍照很容易出片。巴溪洲秋日草地泛黄，树木色彩缤纷，景观桥别具一格。
