这是第48天阅读英文版《傲慢与偏见》,前面是伊丽莎白无意中听到达西和宾利的对话。
"Come, Darcy," said he, "I must have you dance. I hate to see you standing about by yourself in this stupid manner. You had much better dance."
我把这段文字浏览了一遍,大概意思明白,有两个生词:
“达西,来啊”,他说,“我必须得让你跳舞。我烦你一个人站在那(这后面的两个单词我不认识)。你去跳舞多好啊”
陌生词汇简洁注释:
1. stupid
词性:形容词
含义:愚蠢的;笨拙的;不明智的
用法:“in this stupid manner”,看来很笨拙、不明智。
2. manner
词性:名词
含义:方式;态度;举止
用法:“in this stupid manner”,以这种愚蠢的方式。

为了更好的明白这段文字,我逐句拆解阅读:
