10月14日，壳牌尼日利亚子公司SNEPCo与Sunlink Energies共同就尼日利亚近海HI天然气项目作出最终投资决定。该项目建成后，将在峰值生产期每日向尼日利亚液化天然气公司（NLNG，壳牌持股比例25.6%）供应3.5亿标准立方英尺天然气（约合6万桶油当量）。NLNG负责生产液化天然气并出口至全球市场。预计本十年内将启动生产。
