当地时间10月11日，美国密西西比州利兰市官员表示，该市当天凌晨发生枪击事件，造成4人死亡、至少12人受伤。利兰市市长表示，这起枪击案发生在午夜前后，当天有不少人来到城里参加利兰高中的校友返校节比赛。目前没有任何嫌疑人被逮捕，案件仍在调查中。（央视新闻）
