吴说获悉，BitMEX 联创 Arthur Hayes 发推表示，市场传言称，大型中心化交易所（CEX）对与交叉保证金头寸相关的抵押品进行自动清算，是导致许多山寨币在此次下跌中价格暴跌的原因。许多优质山寨币的价格短期内不会再回到那些低位。
