财联社10月7日电，据央视新闻，当地时间10月6日，加拿大艾伯塔省5.1万名教师进行罢工，要求提高教学条件和薪酬。据悉，本次罢工是艾伯塔省历史上最大规模的教师罢工，也是首次全省教师罢工。罢工导致约2000所学校停课，全省从幼儿园到12年级（相当于高三）的73万余名学生受到罢工及停课影响。由于罢工持续时长尚不明确，此前学校已通知停课，并告知家长将学生的必需品带回家。
