加纳国家灾害管理部门10月2日证实，该国中南部阿散蒂地区一处小型非法金矿矿坑1日傍晚发生坍塌，造成至少7人死亡，另有数人受伤。国家灾害管理部门官员说，事故发生于当地时间1日18时左右。救援行动连夜展开，5名矿工获救，正在医院接受治疗。救援行动仍在进行中。
