On September 8, in Urumqi, Xinjiang, staff from the Xinjiang Bayi Iron and Steel Group Co., Ltd. introduced purified water that is safe to drink after advanced treatment. The wastewater treatment process has not only enhanced the efficiency of water resource utilization but also achieved maximum resource recycling. Notably, during winter each year, the company additionally recycles 600,000 cubic meters of reclaimed water from residential areas through water reuse pipelines, achieving genuine "industry-city integration" and generating significant ecological benefits for arid, water-scarce Xinjiang.(Photo by Zhao Anqi / China Youth Daily)
