据央视新闻，据美国地质调查局地震信息网消息，德雷克海峡发生8.0级地震。美国海啸预警系统排除海啸风险。
国家预警发布:2025年08月22日10时16分(北京时间)，德雷克海峡海域(60.17°S,61.72°W)发生7.4级地震，震源深度为51千米。自然资源部海啸预警中心根据初步地震参数判断，地震可能会在震源周围引发局地海啸，但由于震源位于太平洋范围之外，不会对我国沿岸造成影响。
