8月7日（报道），巴基斯坦男子1997年掉入冰川，冰川融化，失踪28年尸体被发现，尸身衣物均保存完好，家人证实其1997年6月骑马掉入冰川裂缝。
专家：当人体落入冰川后，极寒环境会迅速冰冻人体，防止人体腐烂。由于冰川缺乏水分和氧气，尸体就会呈木乃伊状。(红星新闻)
