据《环球时报》援引英国广播公司8月6日报道，ZARA因商业广告模特形象问题遭到监管处罚。英国广告标准管理局（ASA）强制要求，ZARA从官网下架两张广告照片，原因是广告中的模特“瘦得不健康”。 另据英国《独立报》，ASA认定，两张广告图片通过灯光处理、造型设计、模特姿势选择及服装搭配等手段，刻意强化了模特的瘦弱感，存在引导“不健康审美”的风险。
