近年来，通许县大岗李乡结合人居环境整治、美丽乡村建设，引导发动群众利用房前屋后、街道两旁、坑塘沟渠、空心院等闲置土地，栽种经济性和观赏性兼具的油葵，既绿化美化了环境，又增加了群众的收入。
