北京时间8月1日，西汉姆联女足官方发布公告，从浦和红钻女足签下27岁日本女足国脚远藤优，双方签约两年。
远藤优是西汉姆联女足历史第五位日本球员，官方为她们制作了海报。另外4名球员是：长谷川唯、清水梨纱、林穗之香、植木理子。
