7月22日晚，2025中国足协杯1/4决赛，云南玉昆主场3-0淘汰广东广州豹，队史首次闯入足协杯四强。赛后混采区，云南玉昆球员罗竞接受了《超燃足球》记者的采访。
罗竞说道：“很开心吧，最主要的是，之前好久没有首发了，这场比赛首发出战，而且又有进球，非常开心。同时，我们球队历史性地进入足协杯四强，这也让我很开心。”
