北京时间7月22日，据《队报》消息，埃基蒂克将于当地时间周三晚间前往中国香港，随利物浦参加季前赛。
埃基蒂克于当地时间本周二上午从法兰克福登机前往利物浦，即将加盟利物浦。埃基蒂克将于当天接受体检，若一切顺利，随后将签署一份为期六年的合同。此次转会的基础费用预估为7800万欧元，不含奖金。
之后，埃基蒂克将在周三晚间前往中国香港与正在那里进行季前赛的队友会合。
