根据微软此前发布的公告，该公司将于2025年10月14日终止对Windows 10系统的支持服务，并推荐用户迁移至Windows 11系统。
微软方面表示，终止支持后，运行Windows 10的电脑仍将能够运行，但微软将不再提供技术支持、功能更新和安全更新。当Windows 10终止支持后，它将面临更大的病毒和恶意软件风险。
Windows 10于2015年发布，截至2025年7月，StatCounter的数据显示，Windows 11以51.77%份额首次超过了Windows 10的45.02%份额。Windows 11于2021年10月发布，到第一年年底的安装量不到10%。2023年，其市场份额攀升至28%，到2024年底，达到36%。
