深海潜水作业在国际上被列为高危职业，保险行业将其排除在外。截至今年7月，我国有6400名潜水员有了个人意外伤害险。据中国太平洋财产保险股份有限公司天津分公司介绍，该公司为潜水员提供覆盖一年365天、每天24小时的人身意外伤害保险，为潜水员们保驾护航。目前，共为1756家企业提供保险，累计提供风险保障144.8亿元保额。
