7月2日，必和必拓宣布，与中远海运旗下的中远海运散货运输有限公司签订了两艘氨双燃料纽卡斯尔型散货船的租船合同。两艘船预计将于2028年交付，主要用于将铁矿石从西澳大利亚运往东北亚。
