谈及签下卡鲁索和哈滕，普雷斯蒂表示：“幸运的是，他们的个性在这个特定时期完美适配我们的球队，而我们同时得到了两人。我不知道是否还能找到两位热爱扮演角色球员、且为我们的体系量身定制的顶级角色球员，这是我们好运的开始。”
24年6月，雷霆送出吉迪，从公牛得到卡鲁索。同年7月，雷霆与哈滕签下了3年8700万的合同。
