7月1日，据美国国家公路交通安全管理局（NHTSA）披露，由于左侧或右侧车顶纵梁安全气囊（RRAB）气体发生器端盖可能会从气体发生器上脱落，或者气体发生器侧壁可能会破裂，通用汽车公司决定召回部分2018款GMC Sierra 1500、2019款Sierra 2500、3500、雪佛兰Silverado 3500和雪佛兰Silverado 2500以及2018款雪佛兰Silverado 1500 Crew Cab汽车，共计1,658辆。
