6月23日，作者在仪征北郊拍摄到了美丽的寿带鸟雄鸟。
寿带与长寿谐音，常常出现在国画家的画面中。
寿带鸟以它的长尾而著称，在繁殖期，长尾由平时身长的一倍变为两倍，是一种显示威严达到自卫的生理现象。
