夏至的足音沓至之际，太阳升至最高点，以炽焰唤醒大地的诗行。生命在灼热的光芒下蓬勃生长，蝉吟将仲夏的絮语织入流风。唐代诗人高骈在《山亭夏日》中写道：绿树阴浓夏日长，楼台倒影入池塘。夏至将鎏金火种撒向人间，白昼将时光拉长至极，且惜自然之芳华，执手揽取仲夏流火。
