半决赛中，玛利亚2-0（6-3、7-6（3））挑落2号种子凯斯，从资格赛开始连赢六场，连克No.14、No.11和No.8三位TOP15球员，职业生涯第四次跻身巡回赛决赛，这也是她迄今闯入的最高级别争冠战。
