美国篮球记者Brett Siegel报道，埃迪解决了左脚踝松弛的问题，并且在这次手术中重新稳定了受伤的脚踝。埃迪在手术之后四个月将重新接受伤病评估，届时预计将完全康复。
埃迪在自己新秀赛季场均出战21.5分钟，贡献9.2分8.3篮板1.3次封盖。
