现年28岁的小川谅也职业生涯起步于FC东京，并且在22年7月加盟葡萄牙球队吉马良斯。23年夏窗，小川谅也加盟比甲圣图尔登，并且成为球队主力。24/25赛季，小川谅也代表圣图尔登出场38次打入2球，送出4次助攻。
在国家队生涯中，小川谅也在22年为日本国家队出场3次，没有斩获。而在新东家，小川谅也将身披7号战袍。
