5月26日消息，据报道，一份最新报告显示，北欧和其他枢纽地区的主要港口拥堵情况正在恶化，这暗示海上运输中断可能蔓延到亚洲和美国，并推高运费。据伦敦海事咨询公司Drewry上周五发布的报告，3月下旬至5月中旬，德国不来梅港等候泊位的时间增加了77%。同期，安特卫普港的延误时间增加了37%，汉堡港的延误时间增加了49%，鹿特丹港和英国费利克斯托港的等待时间也有所延长。
