2025年5月20日，工商银行、农业银行、中国银行、建设银行、招商银行集体官宣下调存款利率，1年期定存利率跌破1%，调整后各大行利率保持一致。
2022年以前，国有大行不同期限存款利率高于或等于基准利率。2022年9月15日，3年期定存率先跌破基准利率；2023年6月8日，2年期定存跌破基准利率；2023年12月22日，1年期定存跌破基准利率，随后各期限利率持续走低。
