5月14日，谷歌DeepMind在官网宣布推出用于设计高级算法的编程AI Agent——AlphaEvolve。据介绍，AlphaEvolve还能针对复杂数学问题提出创新性解决方案，例如在亲吻数问题（Kissing Number Problem）上取得突破：这个困扰数学家三百余年的几何难题研究单位球体表面最大可接触非重叠球体数量。AlphaEvolve在11维空间中发现了包含593个外层球体的构型，由此建立了该维度下的新下界。
