4月23日晚，CBA季后赛8进4G5，青岛男篮将迎来与广厦男篮的决胜之战。赛前，青岛队主帅刘维伟接受媒体采访。
刘维伟说道：“跟广厦的比赛可能所有人都没有看好我们，我们能把这个比赛拖到最后一场，我觉得我们所有的队员本身就是一个成功，给所有的球迷能奉献一场精彩的比赛，我觉得就足够了。”
