新疆金胡杨民乐团成立于2011年4月，汇聚了乌鲁木齐市很多优秀的民族音乐人才，乐团主要以中国的民族乐器为主。乐团成立十几年来，大家对音乐的热爱从来没有改变过。乐团希望把民族音乐能够传承下去，让年轻人也知道新疆的音乐有多么美。
