3月14日，香港证监会发布通函：由2025年4月1日起，香港证监会将恢复向所有中介人及持牌人士征收牌照年费。《证券及期货条例》第138(2)条规定，所有中介人及持牌人士须于其牌照或注册证明书每年周年日期其后的一个月内缴付年费。如未能在到期日前全数缴付年费，则须就余额缴付附加费，以及其牌照或注册可能会被暂时吊销或撤销。
