3月12日凌晨，江苏泰州高港区应急管理局发布情况通报：
3月11日15时30分，江苏惠利生物科技有限公司发生一起燃爆事故。事故现场救援已结束，共造成4人死亡，4人受伤，伤员救治、善后处置、事故调查等工作正在进行中。
经监测，事故未对周边环境造成次生影响。
