3月11日，现代汽车工会称，公司计划在韩国新建氢燃料电池系统工厂，并于2028年开始运营。如果计划付诸实施，新工厂生产的氢燃料电池系统可用于Nexo氢燃料电池电动汽车、氢动力Elec City巴士和氢能卡车。目前，现代汽车已在中国运营一家氢燃料电池系统工厂。
