美国德克萨斯大学西南医学中心(UTSW)是世界著名的医学研究中心之一。西南医学中心致力于多学科交叉研究和培养基础及临床科研人员。该中心共产生过6名诺贝尔奖获得者,25名美国国家科学院院士,17名美国国家医学院院士,及14名HHMI。伍拓琦课题组隶属于免疫系和癌症中心。实验室研究方向包括:1)T细胞衰竭和干性的分子调控机制,2)建立提高肿瘤免疫疗效的新方法,3)衰老对神经中枢T细胞免疫反应的影响。

Postdoctoral fellow position in immunology at the UT Southwestern Medical Center
A postdoctoral fellow position is available in the laboratory of Dr. Tuoqi Wu in the Department of Immunology and the Harold C. Simmons Comprehensive Cancer Center at the UT Southwestern Medical Center (https://labs.utsouthwestern.edu/wu-tuoqi-lab/people). Ongoing projects in the laboratory include: 1) understanding the molecular mechanism of T-cell stemness and T-cell exhaustion, 2) identifying novel targets for improving the efficacy of cancer immunotherapy, and 3) understanding age-associated immune dysfunction in the CNS. Studies will utilize cutting-edge next-generation sequencing, genome editing, bioinformatics as well as molecular and cellular immunology approaches.
Dr. Wu received his PhD degree from Emory University. He performed his postdoctoral research at the National Institutes of Health (NIH). Dr. Wu is currently an assistant professor in the Department of Immunology at the UT Southwestern Medical Center. His research is supported by the NIH, Cancer Research Institute, V foundation, American Federation for Aging Research, and generous startup fund from UT Southwestern.

Candidates must hold a recent Ph.D. and/or M.D. degree. Experience in immunology, cancer biology, cell biology, neuroscience or relevant fields leading to publication in peer-reviewed journals is recommended.
