北京时间3月3日，据ESPN名记沙姆斯-查拉尼亚报道，火箭已决定将双向合同后卫内特-威廉姆斯转正，并将与后者签下一份4年820万美元的合同。
据沙姆斯透露，为了给签下威廉姆斯腾出名额，火箭将裁掉老将内线科迪-泽勒。
赛季迄今，威廉姆斯仅代表火箭登场8次，场均出战5.5分钟得到3.6分。
