英美资源集团2月18日宣布达成最终协议，将向五矿资源全资子公司MMG Singapore Resources出售镍业务，现金对价最高为5亿美元。这笔交易预计于今年第三季度完成。
英美资源集团表示，此次交易加上去年11月签署的炼钢煤业务出售协议，预计将产生总额至多53亿美元的现金收益。
