美联储理事克里斯托弗·沃勒（Christopher Waller）当地时间2月17日称，最近的经济数据支持维持利率不变，但如果通胀表现和2024年一样，政策制定者可以在“今年某个时候”重新开始降息。沃勒称，“如果今年冬季的情况是暂时的，就像去年那样，那么进一步放松政策将是合适的。但在这一点明朗之前，我倾向于维持政策利率不变。”
