《最终幻想7》重制三部曲第二部《最终幻想7：重生》现已正式登陆PC，其中Steam版首发同时在线玩家数量峰值达到了37895，超越了前作《最终幻想7：重制版》的数据13803，成为了Steam上《最终幻想》系列玩家同时在线数量峰值最高的游戏（单机游戏，《最终幻想14》除外）。
目前，《最终幻想7：重生》Steam玩家全部评测为“多半好评”，共收到3150评测，其中77%为好评。
