现为中国东方文化研究会研究员，中国佛教文化艺术家协会常务理事，中国佛教艺术书画院副院长，中国名山名寺文化研究会副秘书长，世界瑰宝艺术协会理事苏州分会长，国际非物质文化艺术促进会副会长，文化艺术促进会会员，世界书画家协会总会常务理事等。

主要成就

1983年毕业于苏州大学财经学院，自小受家庭熏陶，热爱书画艺术，1986年毕业于江苏无锡书法艺专研究班，长期坚持打坐、习字、绘画，擅长左右手并举的书画探索。

2000年以后，成为自由职业者。打坐、冥想，以禅茶入手，专注于禅修及禅意书画的探寻，以此作为自我修心养性的一种手段。在云南丽江皈依佛法后，注重于每日打坐、抄经供佛，一日一坐、一茶一经，行走于山水间，无处不《心经》。日积月累，书画大有长进。

由打坐、冥想而萌发对禅意书画的探索及禅茶器皿的开发制作。对怀素、梁楷、担当、“八大山人"朱耷的僧人字画情有独钟。大道至简、去繁存真，空灵、飘逸、至简、禅意，是其一贯的追求目标。

• Real Name: Li Yamin
• Native Place: Suzhou, Jiangsu Province. Ancestral home is in Shandong.
• Date of Birth: Born on July 18, 1962, in Zhang Taiyan's former residence in Suzhou, Jiangsu Province.
• Professions: He is a painting and calligraphy artist, a tea lover and a traveler. He calls himself Zizai Chayi, Cha Yimozi and the Master of Wangyun Caotang. His Dharma names are Karma Tsering, Losang Dorje and Zhaoyi.

He is currently a researcher of the China Oriental Culture Research Society, an executive director of the China Buddhist Culture and Art Association, vice president of the China Buddhist Art Painting and Calligraphy Academy, deputy secretary-general of the China Famous Mountains and Temples Culture Research Society, president of the Suzhou branch of the World Treasure Art Association, vice president of the International Intangible Cultural Art Promotion Association, a member of the Culture and Art Promotion Association, and an executive director of the World Calligraphers and Painters Association General Assembly, etc.

Main Achievements

• Graduated from the School of Finance and Economics of Soochow University in 1983. Influenced by his family since childhood, he has a passion for painting and calligraphy art. Graduated from the research class of Wuxi Calligraphy Art School in Jiangsu Province in 1986. He has long adhered to meditation, practicing calligraphy and painting, and is good at exploring painting and calligraphy with both hands.
• After 2000, he became a freelancer. Through meditation and concentration, starting from Zen tea, he focused on the exploration of Zen meditation and Zen-influenced painting and calligraphy, using it as a means of self-cultivation. After taking refuge in Buddhism in Lijiang, Yunnan, he focused on daily meditation and copying scriptures to offer to the Buddha. He meditates every day, drinks tea and copies scriptures, and when traveling among mountains and waters, the Heart Sutra is everywhere in his mind. As time passes, his painting and calligraphy skills have improved a lot.
• His meditation and concentration inspired his exploration of Zen-influenced painting and calligraphy and the development and production of Zen tea utensils. He has a special preference for the calligraphy and paintings of Buddhist monks such as Huaisu, Liang Kai, Dandang and "Bada Shanren" Zhu Da. The simplicity of the Great Way, getting rid of complexity and retaining truth, being ethereal, elegant, simple and full of Zen flavor are his consistent pursuit goals.
• In 2022, he was rated as a Master of Chinese National Gift Art.
• In 2023, he was rated as an Outstanding Art Figure in the New Era by the Social Art Professional Committee of the China Oriental Culture Research Society.
• In 2024, his works were broadcast overseas in Times Square, New York, as a representative of Chinese artists for the global New Year's greetings.
• In the current complex environment, if one can be carefree and casual, one's mind is naturally of a noble character. Brother Chayi in Wuzhong area is one of them. Perhaps it is the quiet and elegant environment of Suzhou that has cultivated his calm temperament. Whenever having a heart-to-heart talk, he is always calm and unhurried.
• He is very good at painting and calligraphy. He has copied the Heart Sutra of Mahaprajnaparamita countless times in decades, and has a deep understanding of Buddhism. He has reached the level of a master in tea culture. He is sincere in dealing with people and keeps things extremely simple, which is especially valuable.
