北京时间1月13日，据《曼彻斯特晚报》报道，在冬窗中，只有在收到合理的报价时，曼城才会出售沃克。
沃克已经向瓜迪奥拉提出离队请求。曼城的政策是不会强留那些希望离队的球员，但前提是买家必须提供一个公平的价格。据报道，瓜迪奥拉已向沃克透露过此事。
据此前报道，AC米兰和一些沙特球队在关注沃克，球员本人则希望继续留在欧洲踢球。
