新华社消息，记者从西藏自治区抗震救灾指挥部获悉，截至7日12时30分，日喀则市定日县地震已造成53人遇难、62人受伤。目前，西藏自治区已启动二级响应。
据介绍，自治区主要领导已带队赶赴震区，要求全力抢救伤员，排查情况、摸清底数，齐心协力、加强协调，切实保护好人民群众生命财产安全。
