12月16日凌晨5时许，揭西县公安局刑侦大队联合丰顺警方，在普宁市大池镇抓获于2007年涉嫌抢劫杀人的在逃人员林某林（男，60岁，揭西县人）。
案情回顾2007年8月21日，林某林伙同林某旋（已到案）等4人持枪在揭西县坪上路段抢劫被害人陈某才（普宁市人），过程中枪支走火，击中陈某才致其死亡，后林某林等人将陈某才尸体抛至丰顺县埔寨镇塔下村一路边并逃离现场。
