12月18日，有消息称，富士康母公司鸿海试图收购日产多数股权。若鸿海的计划得以实现，本田与日产的合作有可能一切归零；而鸿海对日产的兴趣或加速了日产与本田的合并谈判，因双方均担心日产被鸿海收购。对此消息，日产汽车方面对蓝鲸新闻回应称，目前没有针对其它猜测性报道的官方信息，我们也不对猜测性报道做出评论。（蓝鲸新闻 李卓玲）
