金铜制成的佛像通常被供奉在皇宫或佛教寺庙中。在邮票上展示的释迦牟尼佛造像，其头发呈深青色，顶部装饰着金色的宝珠，面部丰满，额头中央有一道白色的毫毛，眉毛修长，眼睛微微低垂。佛像身着露出右肩的袈裟，端坐在莲花宝座上。这尊珍贵的金铜佛像目前被收藏于故宫博物院。
