中国春节申遗终于成功啦！“春节”能否直译为“Chunjie”？

进入12月份，离春节越来越近了。

再过49天，我们将迎来2025年1月28日，除夕。2025蛇年，我们将迎来第一个世界“非遗”版春节。春节申遗成功，让我们向世界介绍中国春节！

可能有人会问：那以后，“春节”的英文表达能否直译为“Chunjie”？先来看环球时报的相关报道：

The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) added "Spring Festival, social practices of the Chinese people in celebration of the traditional New Year" to the Representative List of theIntangible Cultural Heritageof Humanity at the 19th session of the Intergovernmental Committee for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage held on December 4, 2024. China now has 44 items on the intangible cultural heritage list of the UNESCO, continuing to be the most enlisted country in the world.

2024年12月4日，在联合国教科文组织“保护非物质文化遗产政府间委员会”第19届常会，中国的“春节——中国人庆祝传统新年的社会实践”被列入人类非物质文化遗产名录。至此，中国共有44个项目列入联合国教科文组织非物质文化遗产名录、名册，总数居世界第一。

As a signature part of Chinese culture, the Spring Festival, also calledChinese New Year, is one of the most important festivals practiced in China and around the world. The listing of the Spring Festival as an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity is an acknowledgment of not only its Chinese roots but also the ideas it carries that connect all humanity.

作为中国文化的重要组成部分，春节，也称为中国新年，是中国乃至世界各地最重要的节日之一。春节被列入人类非物质文化遗产名录，不仅是对其中国根源的认可，也是对其所承载的人类共同价值的肯定。

从上述报道中不难发现，春节的翻译多采用：Spring Festival，或者是：Chinese New Year。

对于能否将春节直译为“Chunjie”？

对此，华中师范大学文学院副教授熊威在接受采访时表示，在当前国际传播语境下，“Spring Festival”已被广泛接受，便于非中文语系的人理解春节的节庆意义。

然而，“Chunjie”作为拼音名称，更能直接体现中国文化特色，具有进一步推广的价值。未来，可以在正式场合继续使用“Spring Festival”，同时鼓励在文化传播活动中逐步推广“Chunjie”。
