On November 6th, a parallel session of the seventh Hongqiao International Economic Forum, themed "Pudong and the World: High-Standard Institutional Opening-up for New Development Opportunities" was held at the National Exhibition and Convention Center in Shanghai.
Erik Solheim, former Under-Secretary-General of the United Nations and Vice President of the Belt and Road Initiative International Green Development Coalition, emphasized that Pudong stands out as a frontrunner in green technology. He advocated for Shanghai and Pudong to maintain their leadership in sustainable development and serve as exemplars of eco-friendly progress for both China and the global community.
