北京时间11月1日，2024游泳世界杯（短池）新加坡站，在男子1500米自由泳决赛中出现罕见一幕。比赛过程中，日本两位选手没有听见岸边裁判最后一圈的摇铃声，因此在完成比赛后都多游了一圈。最终，今福和志以14:36.32夺冠，另一位日本选手辻森魁人以14:43.14获得第二。
