北京时间10月26日，据记者Jake Fischer报道，76人和篮网曾有意鹈鹕锋线特雷-墨菲三世。
据之前相关报道，墨菲已经与鹈鹕签下了一份4年价值1.12亿美元的合同。
2021年选秀大会，墨菲在首轮第17顺位被鹈鹕选中，生涯前三个赛季，他共代表鹈鹕登场198次，其中89场先发，场均能够得到11.7分3.6篮板1.4助攻。（NBA官网）
